Those of us closest to Bob — at least in his primary pursuit of science and technology — are congregating to celebrate him on what would have been his 83nd birthday

While the schedule is fluid, we expect that “speeches” will start around 6:15pm Pacific time. The Zoom meeting will likely be open well before 5pm, but it is likely that no one at the event will monitor the Zoom meeting until about 6pm.

We might be able to facilitate “live” remote speeches, but it would likely be easier to pre-record something today, despite the short notice. Despite the incredibly short notice, we need any submission to be received by 4:45pm Pacific on November 8th.
